Yellow Rose Outlaw is relatively unique in the landscape of traditional American whiskeys. With a mash bill of 100% Texan grown corn, it relies heavily on barrel influence to build the flavor profile established in fermentation and distillation. Missouri oak
staves were seasoned for 18 months in the local weather before undergoing a series of infrared toasting and open-flame charring.

Ten finishing barrels (celebrating ten years of Yellow Rose distilling fine Texas whiskeys) aged the Outlaw liquid for 24 months to create a new profile greater than the sum of all parts. Our team at Yellow Rose Distilling has to put a lot of effort into this labor of

Nose: Smoky; Mexican hot chocolate; cinnamon and cayenne; toasted almonds; black pepper; black tea

Palate: Spice bloom upfront; complex transition to slightly sweet, baking spices with underlying vanilla; hint of almond; lacking bitter tannins

Finish: Long finish with spice heat
